Junction
A section of the N5 between Bascharage and Petange will be closed in both directions from 7am on Wednesday, 26 August until 8pm on Friday, 28 August while a junction is upgraded.
The closure affects around 200m of the N5. It is linked to the redevelopment of the junction connecting Rue de la Reconnaissance Nationale, Route de Luxembourg, Rue Jules Hemmer, and Rue des Ateliers.
As part of the works, traffic lights will be installed at the junction to improve road safety. A signposted diversion will be in place throughout the closure.
Between the N4 closure in Esch-sur-Alzette and now this, commuters in the south of the country are having a rough week.
