Critical
On Sunday 19 July, a mass brawl broke out in the area around the Al Seeerei area in Diekirch. According to police reports, 15 to 20 people attacked another person. The victim is currently in critical condition after sustaining severe injuries.[1]
The Criminal Investigation Department (SPJ) is seeking witnesses and any further information surrounding the attack and the suspects involved, in particular anyone who might have recorded the incident on their mobile phone. Any private individuals with images or videos of the incident are encouraged to share this footage with the police. Any other relevant information should be sent to the SPJ.[1]
15 to 20 people. One person. Sunday, July 19, at the Al Seeerei in Diekirch. The victim is in critical condition. The police are asking for phone footage. Five days passed before the appeal went public. The brawl happened on a Sunday. The appeal came on a Friday. In those five days, the victim was in hospital, the attackers were somewhere, and the witnesses were walking around with footage on their phones. The police want the footage. The victim is critical. The word "critical" means the person could die. The word "brawl" means a fight. 15 to 20 people fighting one person is not a brawl. It is something else.[1]
