Bonnevoie

Police were called to Rue de Thionville in Bonnevoie on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a confrontation. According to initial information, two men were threatened with a knife by another individual during an argument. Officers managed to apprehend the suspected perpetrator shortly afterwards and seized the alleged weapon. Investigations into the sequence of events are ongoing.[1]

Later that evening, police received another report of a disturbance, this time on Rue de Bonnevoie. In this case, a man was reportedly struck in the face during a dispute. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police have launched an investigation into this incident as well.[1]

Two streets. Two incidents. Same neighbourhood. Same day. The first happened in daylight, an argument that turned into a knife threat. The second happened after dark, a dispute that ended with a man in hospital. Both are under investigation. Neither is connected, according to the police. The names of the streets are familiar to anyone who has walked through Bonnevoie. The incidents are not.[1]
